This page is for school IT and network administrators. LessonHQ is an educational technology platform for teachers and schools - it generates curriculum-aligned teaching resources (lesson plans, slides, worksheets, knowledge organisers). It is not a student chatbot or a general-purpose AI tool. If your web filter has categorised it as "uncategorised" or "generic AI", please recategorise it as Education / Educational Technology.
Required LessonHQ domains
- www.lessonhq.co.uk (UK)
- www.lessonhq.us (US)
- All traffic is HTTPS on port 443 only. The app, API, authentication and file downloads are all served from these domains (no separate subdomains to allow).
Required third-party domains (browser-facing)
These are loaded by the browser for core features. Allowing them lets LessonHQ work fully:

What LessonHQ does NOT need
- No inbound connections to your network.
- No installed software, extensions or agents.
- No student accounts or student personal data are required (the teacher tools are used by staff; the optional parent Student Portal is used at home, not on school networks).
