Questions parents ask
What's the difference between the two plans?
Student Plus ($4.99/month) is for children at school who need help with homework, revision and tests. Home-School Plus ($12.99/month) is for families who teach at home: it includes everything in Student Plus, plus the lesson and resource generators (100 lesson packs a month, plus worksheets, slides and more) and a year planner.
Can my child sign up on their own?
No - a parent or carer creates the account and adds a profile for each child. You stay in control of every profile and all of the data. Parent accounts are for adults (18+); children use PIN-protected profiles and don't need an email.
Will my child just copy the answers?
No. The default "No Answers Mode" gives hints and explanations that lead your child to the answer themselves, so they actually learn it.
Does it follow our curriculum?
Yes. Everything is aligned to your state's standards, including named state systems like Texas TEKS and Florida B.E.S.T..
Can my child study in Spanish?
Yes. Choose Spanish in the Language box before starting a study session, and home-school lessons can be made in Spanish too. It is translated by AI, so it can contain mistakes; check anything important.
Can you make my child a study timetable?
Yes. Add your child's test dates and the time they have each week, and you get a printable calendar that spaces and mixes subjects, gives weaker subjects more time, keeps rest days and goes light in the final week. Each session links to study help on that topic. Student Plus and Home-School Plus include the full timetable, one for each child. A free parent account can make one timetable and see its first 2 weeks.
Is there a free option?
Yes. Create a free parent account and you get 8 study sessions a month for your children, with no card needed. Home-School Plus also comes with a 7-day free trial (card needed, nothing charged for 7 days, cancel before it ends and you pay nothing), so you can try the full lesson tools before you pay. Cancel any time.
