If a child is in danger
If a child is in immediate danger, call 911 first. To report child sexual abuse material or online grooming, you can also report directly to the NCMEC CyberTipline. Then tell us at [email protected] so we can remove it.
Harmful or abusive content
Use the "Report" link on any listing, review or profile, or "Tell us about a problem" at the bottom of homework and live-lesson pages (students can use it too). Or email [email protected] with the web address and what's wrong.
We review every report, usually within 2 working days, and straight away where a child may be at risk. What isn't allowed is listed in section 14 of our terms.
Intimate images shared without consent
If an intimate image of you (or of someone you are authorised to act for) appears on LessonHQ without consent, email [email protected] with "Image removal" in the subject and include:
- The web address where the image appears
- A short statement that the image was shared without consent
- Your name, contact details and your signature (typing your full name is fine)
We remove the image, and any copies we find, within 48 hours of a valid request.
Copyright (DMCA notices)
If a listing copies your work, email [email protected] with "Copyright" in the subject and include:
- A description of your work
- The web address of the listing on LessonHQ
- Your name, postal address, phone number and email address
- A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by you, your agent or the law
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you own the copyright or are authorised to act for the owner
- Your signature (typing your full name is fine)
Our designated agent for copyright notices, registered with the US Copyright Office (registration number DMCA-1083787), is: Copyright Agent, LessonHQ, 109 New Inn Lane, Trentham, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, ST4 8HA, United Kingdom. Email: [email protected].
We will remove or disable the listing where appropriate and tell the seller. A seller who believes the removal was a mistake can reply with a counter-notice; we may restore the listing if the complaint is not pursued. We close the accounts of repeat infringers.
Disagree with a decision?
If we removed your content or restricted your account and you think we got it wrong, email [email protected] with "Complaint" in the subject. A person will review it and reply, usually within 5 working days.
